GLOBAL INTENT COMPANY
Interactive technical environment for machine learning, scientific instrumentation, computational systems, experiments, and project evidence.
Developed independently by founder and researcher Cory Tortorici. Source code, controlled experiments, null results, architectural iterations, and public research logs are made inspectable across all project nodes.
LATEST FROM THE LAB
Recent empirical findings, architectural iterations, and null results surfaced directly from active research logs.
Active laboratory research log entries with timestamped records are available in the full research log.
EXPLORE THE RESEARCH
Navigate the connected network of research projects, architectural pipelines, and domain clusters in real-time 3D.
Virtual Lab Mobile / Sensor Node
GI-Company/virtual-lab-mobileEdge acquisition system and mobile scientific instrumentation codebase investigating how commodity sensing hardware can participate in structured, attributable scientific acquisition.
Structural Overview
Built in Kotlin targeting Android 14 (API 34). Operates as an edge acquisition node acquiring multi-sensor streams under an Android Foreground Service (AcquisitionForegroundService). Integrates Camera2 API with remote focus/exposure controls over WebSockets, sub-meter Wi-Fi RTT (802.11mc) ranging, and 100 Hz calibrated IMU/magnetometer sampling, enforcing the universal threefold classification: ● OBSERVED (direct raw pixel/sensor reading), ◆ MEASURED (calibrated calculation), and ▲ INFERRED (model-derived prediction).
Canonical Source Artifact
Canonical public source repository for the Virtual Lab Mobile edge scientific acquisition system.
